HGV 2 Drivers

HG Recruitment are recruiting to work with our client based in Weighbridge working on a long term / temp to perm basis. We have both AM and PM shifts available with working any 5 out of 7 (including weekends).

You will be required to carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods, with a maximum of 8 drops per day. You will be loading and unloading your vehicle using tail lift. Ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day to day basis.

AM  £15.11 PAYE £16.93 holiday inclusive approx. £931.15 weekly (based on 55 hours)

PM  £17.37 PAYE £19.46 holiday inclusive approx. £1070.30 weekly (based on 55 hours)

Overtime rates £22.67-£48.67 depending on day and hours worked.

Manned 24 / 7 availability.

Multi‑drop delivery up to 8 drops per day, depot to depot.

Loading and unloading vehicle.

• HGV 2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• New Pass Welcome
• Digital tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of driver's hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude.
