We’re looking for a dedicated Enhanced Cleaner to join our team, supporting a range of secure and supported premises, including residential and office‑based facilities. This is a vital role where your attention to detail and professionalism will directly contribute to the wellbeing of residents, staff and visitors. You’ll be working in environments that support individuals on their rehabilitation journey, so empathy, discretion and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high‑frequency cleaning across communal areas, offices, kitchens, bathrooms and high‑touch surfaces to maintain hygiene and reduce risk.
- Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored in line with COSHH and site‑specific protocols.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations, including safe systems of work and incident reporting.
- Support infection prevention measures and contribute to a safe, respectful environment for all building users.
- Work independently or as part of a small team, often with minimal supervision, while maintaining a professional and discreet presence.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo enhanced DBS and security clearance (including up to 5 years of referencing).
- BICS qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role within secure, healthcare or sensitive environments is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with a wide range of individuals.
- A calm, reliable and professional approach to working in emotionally sensitive settings.
