Role: Accounts Senior

Location: Whitby

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to be working with a well-established practice that's highly regarded in the area. They're seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their friendly and long standing team in Whitby to come on board as an Accounts Senior.

• Manage a portfolio of clients preparing annual accounts and tax computations for more complex assignments
• Review and gather personal tax return information
• Hold client meetings to discuss financial statements, tax positions and planning opportunities
• Allocate work to colleagues and provide guidance, support and feedback
• Review work for accuracy, presentation and adherence to internal procedures
• Identify opportunities to enhance client service or introduce additional services

• UK Practice Experience is essential
• Ideally needs to be qualified (ACCA/ACA) however QBE candidates will be considered
• Excellent technical skills with good knowledge of accounting principles
• Confident managing client relationships and handling queries
• Positive, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
