This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional to join the newly created FP&A team and shape budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for the future growth of the business. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will lead key financial planning activities and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities- Take ownership of the annual budget and five‑year plan, as well as in‑year re‑forecasts, utilising Anaplan to produce comprehensive forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows and funding requirements).
- Lead the integration of Anaplan as our primary tool for reporting, planning, M&A deal modelling, and statutory reporting.
- Develop a suite of best‑in‑class reporting and KPIs for senior internal stakeholders and shareholders, providing insights to drive value creation.
- Work closely with Finance Control, Data, and People teams to enhance the integrity and consistency of financial and non‑financial data for divisional, propositional, and departmental planning and reporting.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to track and report risks and opportunities (and their potential financial impact) across the business.
- Provide ad‑hoc strategic analysis, including investment appraisal and deal modelling, to support Saltus’ ambitious growth plans.
- Proven track record in a senior FP&A role within a dynamic, fast‑growing business, ideally in financial services or wealth management.
- Demonstrable experience successfully leading a budget and forecast process in a complex business.
- Previous experience working closely with a planning tool, ideally Anaplan.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in a relevant role.
- Commercial acumen and experience monitoring and reporting on cashflows and funding requirements, ideally within a private equity environment.
- Energy and passion with the drive to create processes and tools from scratch.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to take ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects, working autonomously but knowing when to ask for help.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and strong Excel skills.
- A willingness and flexibility to travel to office sites as required.
We’re incredibly flexible: two to three days each week in an office, the remainder of the week from home. Ideally based in the Southampton (Whiteley) office but open to travel to any of our UK sites.
