The RoleAs a Registered Nurse at Baptist Housing, you will provide compassionate, high‑quality, person‑centered care to our residents. Your role is crucial in ensuring their health, safety, and well‑being in a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care based on individualized resident needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments following best practices and safety protocols.
- Advocate for residents' well‑being, fostering a person-centered approach to care.
- Supervise and mentor care staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and use electronic health records effectively.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace culture.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- A minimum of one year of experience in geriatric, palliative, or complex care is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Commitment to a person‑centered approach to care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and electronic health records.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

You possess a unique skill set that includes assessing functional and cognitive status, managing equipment, and adeptly utilizing office technology.
You are also well‑versed in pharmacological therapies, the Wellness Model, legal documentation, and the complex intricacies of the healthcare system at various levels. You are competent, compassionate, and have an unwavering commitment to the well‑being of those you serve.
- We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $41.42 to $55.91 for Level 3 Registered Nurses (RNs), along with the opportunity to work in a supportive and caring community.
