Job Description
Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) – White Rock Veterinary Hospital
We’ve been AAHA Accredited since 1987, so gold-standard care is nothing new to us. What is new? The opportunity for the right RVT to join our team and bring their skills, smarts, and sense of humour to our hospital.
At White Rock Veterinary Hospital, we take patient care seriously—but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We believe in teamwork, respect, and keeping the workplace positive (because let’s be honest, this job is demanding enough).
The ScheduleTuesday through Saturday. Your Sundays and Mondays are yours to enjoy—brunch, hiking, Netflix marathons… we don’t judge.
You might be our kind of RVT if you :- Have strong technical skills and know your way around anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients and teammates
- Bring a calm, professional vibe—even when things get hectic
- Are licensed and in good standing (non-negotiable, but we figured you knew that)
- Assist our veterinarians with exams, surgery, and dental procedures
- Monitor anesthesia like the pro you are
- Run diagnostics and keep things running smoothly
- Build trust with clients through compassion and professionalism
$25.00 – $33.00 / hour
What we bring to the table :- Competitive wage and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, life insurance)
- Paid professional dues—because investing in you is investing in us
- Ongoing CE and networking with fellow RVTs across Vet Care practices
- A modern hospital with digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab toys
- Staff discounts (because your own pets deserve the best too)
White Rock Veterinary Hospital is part of Vet Care, a Canadian-owned network of veterinary practices. Based in Vancouver, Vet Care supports hospitals across the country with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and top-tier patient care.
If you’re looking for a workplace where your skills will be valued, your ideas heard, and your sense of humour appreciated, it might be time to make the move to White Rock.
Qualifications :- Registered Veterinary Technician or Technologist
- Successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
- Passed the VTNE or are eligible to write the VTNE
- Be in good standing with the Provincial Regulatory Association
