Are you a chemistry or materials-focused engineer with a passion for electroplating and continuous improvement? Amphenol Ltd is looking for a Material Process Engineer who will play a key role in developing, maintaining and improving metal finishing processes.

• Analysing and improving electroplating and material finishing processes
• Developing PFMEA documentation for new and existing processes (NPI)
• Providing hands‑on shop‑floor technical support and troubleshooting
• Managing chemical analysis, control and replenishment
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, GMP and environmental standards
• Supporting waste management, effluent systems and IPPC permit compliance
• Training and mentoring team members and supporting skills development
• Deputising for the Material Finish Engineer when required

• Degree in Chemistry or a relevant Science discipline (ideally electroplating/material finishes)
• Manufacturing experience with GMP / GLP knowledge
• Strong PFMEA, process documentation and problem‑solving skills
• Solid Health & Safety and chemical handling experience
• Confident communicator with a collaborative, continuous improvement mindset
