Job Type: Full-time, Day Shifts
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (based on experience)

Working Hours:

7am - 5pmWe are currently seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.

Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
Respond quickly to any breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machinery efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with the production team to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize impact on production.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to handle emergency repairs outside of normal working hours if necessary.
