Playground​/Recreation Construction Foreman

Versa sport is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead crews installing commercial playgrounds, recreational surfacing, shade structures, and other outdoor recreation projects.

We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong technical skills, particularly in site grading, setting elevations, slope management, and precise construction layout.

• Lead crews and oversee daily construction activities.
• Perform and supervise site grading, elevation setting, drainage slopes, and site preparation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grading specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment, including skid steers and mini excavators.
• Oversee playground equipment, surfacing, and shade structure installations.
• Manage project schedules, materials, quality, and job site safety.
• Communicate professionally with customers and project managers.

• 5+ years of commercial playground installation or related construction experience preferred.
• Strong experience with grading, elevations, slopes, and site layout is essential.
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment and reading construction plans.
• Experience leading construction crews and managing job sites.
• GPS layout equipment experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices.

• Based in Wichita, KS.
• Approximately 15–20 weeks of travel annually
  , Monday–Friday, with weekends at home.
• Company-paid lodging and daily meal allowance.
• Additional compensation for overnight travel.
