We are looking for two enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurses with Older Adult Mental Health experience to join our Caithness Community Mental Health team. Your role will work with adults over the age of 65, or any age if a memory concern is present.

• Assessment; care planning, implementation and evaluation of the care plan in partnership with the client, family and carers.
• Assessment and management of ongoing risk.
• Medication monitoring and liaising with psychiatrists, primary care and other social care services.
• Referencing other services as appropriate.
• Active member of the MDT and supervising students and support workers on occasion.
• Efficient travel to undertake the role and maintaining a reliable vehicle, with a driving licence essential. A pool car may be available; applicants must have access to their own vehicle for work purposes if required.

• Registered with the NMC and adherence to its code of conduct.
• Experience in older adult mental health.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• 2 permanent posts, totalling 51.4 hours per week (hours negotiable).
• Use of a pool car may be available; applicants should have access to their own vehicle if required.
