A respected Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a new £35M student accommodation scheme in Hackney Wick, East London.

The project consists of three blocks – the tallest reaching seven storeys, with one block designated for commercial use. The scheme is brickwork façade, straightforward in design, and due to come out of gateway in November, with piling starting in January.

Key Responsibilities

* Take full ownership of the project from pre-construction through to handover.

* Lead and coordinate the site team, ensuring the programme, quality, and safety standards are achieved.

* Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain partners effectively.

* Oversee all client and design team communications, ensuring smooth project delivery.

* Drive progress meetings and maintain accurate reporting to senior management.

About You

* Proven experience managing new-build RC frame or traditional brickwork schemes (ideally student accommodation, residential, or mixed-use).

* Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of running projects valued £20M–£40M.

* Background with a reputable main contractor.

* Excellent technical understanding and organisational ability.
