This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialise in Security / Access Control Systems, to join as an ambitious Lead Groundworker and help to develop the business during an exciting phase of growth.

UK Travel is a requirement of the role, so a full driving licence is mandatory.

• Experienced in leading onsite teams in a range of civils and ground working tasks
• To hold relevant CSCS card and relevant plant operation tickets, for example excavator, dumper, roller, banksman traffic marshall, slinger/signaller, abrasive wheels and face fit
• To have a good working knowledge of all fence types, electrical fencing systems and access control system
• Clean driving licence
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Common sense
• Health & Safety compliance
• Ability to work unsupervised, independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in similar civils engineering or infrastructure installation

• Responsible for ensuring the team delivers its responsibilities
• Assist with groundwork, precasting concrete, trenching, and site preparation
• Liaise and assist Site Manager, Site Supervisor and clients where necessary
• Regularly supervise work squads, reporting any defects, snags or health & safety issues
• Operate a range of site plant equipment (e.g. telehandler, dumper, mini excavator)
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, permits and all company procedures
• Ability to understand drawings, and interpret RAMS
• Ensure work is carried out to company standards
