Role Overview

We are recruiting a permanent Product Manager. The role is flexible in location, with some travel to team or supplier meetings. You will lead the development of key national case‑management applications that are essential to our work, ensuring they evolve securely, remain stable and scalable, and provide analytic insights across the family justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of product initiatives from concept through launch, post‑release refinement and lifecycle management.
  • Define product vision, align road‑maps with organisational goals and oversee the full product life‑cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external developers and hosting partners to deliver solutions that meet evolving needs.
  • Lead a team – a Senior Product Owner and a Lead Developer – to deliver high‑quality, user‑focused outcomes.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert and report regularly to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager (or similar) in the IT/technology space, with a record of successful product launches on time and on budget.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder‑influencing skills across all levels.
  • Hands‑on experience creating product road‑maps, negotiating with cross‑functional teams and making data‑driven decisions.
  • Proven track record driving product development using agile methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of user‑centred design principles and experience working with design/UX teams to create exceptional user experiences.
  • Business‑analysis skills with the ability to resolve conflicting requirements or business challenges pragmatically.
  • Excellent project‑management skills.
