We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and experienced specialist support worker to provide exceptional care for an individual with complex Autism and learning difficulties who displays self‑injurious and challenging behaviours. You must be able to communicate effectively using a person‑centred communication passport whilst delivering a high level of support to achieve an enriched and fulfilled life through implementing strategies to manage their dynamic needs effectively.
Responsibilities- Provide specialist support to enrich their future, support with activities of daily living and accessing the community while respecting dignity and promoting independence.
- Be a positive advocate to enable informed choices and act in best interest when unable to do so.
- Be consistent, reliable and pro‑active in implementing positive behaviour support plans with a calm and understanding can‑do attitude.
- Build a trusting and positive relationship fostering a sense of security, comfort and confidence.
- Work as part of the team, delivering exceptional person‑centred care, following the individualised care‑plan.
- Ensure the environment is safe and supportive, regularly assessing risks and taking proactive steps to reduce harm.
- Observe and document changes in behaviour, health, or emotional well‑being, providing detailed reports to the service Manager.
- Maintain high standards and professional boundaries while maintaining relations with family and the wider healthcare professionals.
- Minimum of 3 years experience supporting Learning Disabilities or Autism (must).
- Legally able to drive in the UK and have own transport (Driving Licence).
- Be physically fit to engage in physical intervention and to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.

- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period.
