Support Worker – Salutem Care and Education

About the Role

As a Support Worker you will provide high‑quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role.

Shift Rotation

7‑day rota includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays. 6 × 8 hr shifts one week and 4 × 8 hr shifts the next.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement person‑centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best‑practice compliance.
  • Activity Planning – develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
  • Health and Lifestyle – support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.
  • Communication – facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person‑centered records.
  • Medication Management – oversee medication processes and support individuals in self‑administration.
  • Safety and Environment – maintain a safe, clean‑living environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
