Lettings Negotiator - Widnes - £25k basic + Commission

My client is a leading, independent Lettings brand who have been established in the area for many years. They are looking for a confident and experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team.

You will play a key role in matching tenants to suitable properties, handling tenancy paperwork and building lasting relationships with landlords and tenants. Your confidence, organisational skills, and ability to manage a busy workload both out in the field and behind a desk will help strengthen their lettings department.

Key Responsibilities Lettings Process
  • Register applicants, qualify requirements, and match tenants to suitable properties.
  • Arrange and conduct property viewings in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Manage tenancy applications, referencing, and drafting tenancy agreements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate property files and tenancy documentation.
  • Assist with the administration of rent reviews in line with legislation and company policy.
  • Ensure all lettings processes comply with current legislation and company standards.
Landlord & Tenant Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, providing regular updates and advice.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to tenants throughout the lettings process.
  • Handle queries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Teamwork & Compliance
  • Work closely with the property management team to ensure a seamless landlord and tenant experience.
  • Stay up to date with lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to the positive, collaborative culture of the office.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in residential lettings.
  • Confident negotiator with strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities, with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of lettings legislation and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
