From £12.29 per hour
Smart Solutions is hiring a Banksman for a busy Material Recovery Facility in Widnes. This is a crucial role in managing traffic flow and ensuring safety on site.
Key Duties- Control and direct vehicle and pedestrian movements to keep the site safe
- Supervise safe tipping, loading, and depositing of waste
- Monitor waste for compliance; stop and report non-conforming loads
- Use handheld devices for waste checks and reporting
- Keep tipping areas, entrances, and walkways clear and safe
- Ensure health and safety processes are followed
- Perform load checking
- Manage traffic effectively in yard and site areas
- Banksman NPORS Licence or equivalent (must have valid certification)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
