Quantity Surveyor

The Role

Our client is growing and is looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor ready to step into the next stage of their career. If you've spent the last few years working with housing developers or surfacing contractors, understand their processes inside and out, and want the chance to shape a team of your own, we'd love to hear from you.

You’ll be joining a strong commercial team, working closely with some of the region's leading housing developers—our client's core customer base. They're looking for someone proactive, commercially astute, and confident managing projects from cost planning through to final accounts.

This is an ideal step for an Intermediate QS with 4-5+ years' experience who is hungry for progression and ready to take on more responsibility.

• Manage cost planning, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Work directly with housing developers, bringing insight into their processes and expectations
• Support and mentor apprentice QSs as the team expands
• Help streamline commercial processes and contribute to continued business growth
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams

• 4‑5+ years' experience as an Intermediate or Quantity Surveyor
• Background working with housing developers or surfacing contractors (highly desirable)
• A solid understanding of commercial procedures, housing developer workflows, and site operations
• Ambition to develop into a more senior role and support junior team members
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
