£25k - £37k + Training & Benefits. Over‑time, pension scheme, annual leave and company vehicle.

Due to recently winning new contracts in the region, our client is seeking a motivated Fire Damper / Ventilation Engineer, who can confidently adapt to meet client requirements. You will be inspecting and surveying existing fire damper and ventilation systems to ensure full functionality and compliance, and completing subsequent servicing works. Our client is a busy and growing Building Services outfit, who can offer great further training and development into other industry sectors.

• Experience working as a Fire Damper / Ventilation Engineer
• Will ideally hold the TR19 and BS9999 tickets
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Flexible to travel in line with client requirements
• Good literacy and numeracy skill level
• Proficient in using IT software
• Hardworking attitude

• Inspecting and surveying existing Fire Damper and Ventilation systems (e.g. kitchen extract, canopy, AHU and ductwork)
• Identifying required remedial duties and system performance issues
• Performing drop testing on Fire Dampers
• Cleaning existing ventilation systems
• Installing access panels
• Producing detailed service reports, with detailed photographs
• Ensuring to work to industry safety measures
• Meeting/exceeding work deadlines
• Representing the company in a professional manner
