Finance Analyst
Role
Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated Finance professional to join our Site Finance Team. The successful candidate will report into the Manufacturing Finance Lead, supporting the Heads of Manufacturing, Operations Managers and Process Improvement Leads to drive operational efficiency, support delivery of site KPIs, whilst ensuring we meet financial targets and compliance commitments.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and analysis of timely performance reporting for the site, supporting management and control of circa £50m of Variable Input Costs, including Direct Labour, Material Usage Variance, Utilities and Other VIC.
The right candidate will have worked in Finance for several years and will be looking to develop their skills and experience in a large, blue-chip, FMCG business. They will have demonstrated their ability to understand business issues and apply their financial knowledge in a way which translates financial data into meaningful reporting which can be used to improve decision making and drive the performance of the factory.
Rather than operating on gut feel, the Kraft Heinz Management System encourages us to make informed choices using facts and data.
Along with weekly actuals reporting, the Finance Analyst will support the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual planning cycle for the manufacturing activity successful candidate will also work with the Finance Business Partner and Finance Analyst, responsible for overhead costs, along with supporting process improvement projects and helping ensure our compliance commitments are completed in a timely manner. This role sits at the heart of the Operations Team and would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to juggle a variety of demands and enjoys finding solutions to complex issues.

Financial Leadership & Business Partnering
- Develop a strong understanding of the Variable Input Costs of the site, supporting the Manufacturing Finance Lead with detailed analysis to provide guidance to the Operations Team of the site.
- Prepare Line Cost Analysis data to support justification and delivery of Process Improvement Plans, Savings Initiatives and Capex Projects in collaboration with Operations, Continuous Improvement, Functional and Capital Engineering Teams.
- Manage site process to cost semi-finished and finished goods produced at Kitt Green.
- Act as gatekeeper for changes to material master data and master recipes.
- Ensure trials, experiments and new product launches are conducted within the agreed process and where appropriate costs are recharged to R&D.
