About the RoleAs an IT Support Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting hotel clients with their cloud telephony and networking systems. You will gain experience in technical support, fault‑finding, installations, and VoIP technologies while working with experienced professionals.
A Typical Day in the Job- Technical Support & Troubleshooting – Diagnose and resolve faults including cloud telephony, routers, switches, and networks via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Installation & Maintenance – Configure, test, install, and repair IT and telephony equipment, ensuring systems are ready for deployment.
- Remote & On‑Site Support – Respond to faults, moves, additions, and changes while providing assistance to customers and colleagues.
- VoIP & Network Monitoring – Use Wireshark, Magic, and Broad Works to analyse VoIP performance and check device configurations.
- Documentation & Compliance – Log work orders, reports, and stock control accurately, ensuring adherence to ISO
9001 service standards. - Security & Policy Adherence – Follow security protocols for password resets, backups, and compliance with company policies.
- Starting Salary: £18,150+ (based on experience)
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing yearly to 27 days after 5 years)
- Hours:
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) - Cycle‑to‑work scheme

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands‑on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one‑to‑one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualifications and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full‑time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real‑time classes with our expert trainers and self‑paced courses created by industry specialists.
