Certified Orthodontic Assistant – Williams Lake, BC & Whitehorse, YT

Canadian Orthodontic Partners is looking for a talented Certified Orthodontic Assistant to join our teams in Williams Lake, BC and Whitehorse, YT. This full‑time, permanent role provides support services to our national network of community‑based clinics, delivering personalized orthodontic treatment with a focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring patients in for their visits in an enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every visit.
  • Ensure patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goals for comprehensive oral health.
  • Desire to help, educate and improve patients’ lives.
  • Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
  • Organize, clean and maintain a clean and sterile clinical area.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, respect and cooperation.
  • Perform any other tasks delegated or assigned by the orthodontist or leadership team.
  • Demonstrate great energy for a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Dental Assistant experience
  • Successfully completed CDA (Completion of NDAEB Exam)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease
  • Great time‑management and organizational skills
  • Experience in an orthodontic office preferred but not required
  • Orthodontic Module required

Travel Requirement:
This position requires travel to both locations for approximately one week per month each (up to 2 weeks total of each month spent travelling). All travel related expenses are covered, and overtime pay is available.
