Senior Associate – Transaction Services

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join a growing US based Finance House looking to continue their expansion in the UK and Europe.

In this Senior Associate position, you will be tasked with conducting new business surveys and performing complex due diligence on new and existing clients to assess their financial security and identify potential areas of risk. You will work on behalf of Asset Based Lenders, ascertaining suitability for large finance transactions, often syndicated and/or multi-jurisdictional.

All clients will have borrowing facilities which are circa £50M and above. You will work in close partnership with the existing team to minimise bad debt provisions through the detailed understanding of credit stewardship principles and the early identification of risk within the corporate space.

In addition you will assume responsibility for delivering the company’s Quality of Earnings service, working closely with clients such as Hedge Funds and/or Private Equity Houses to perform complex Financial Due Diligence on new business acquisitions.

Work is generally conducted at the clients’ premises and will involve the full analysis of complex management accounts. Experience of ABL and/or syndicated facilities is preferable as is a high level of accounting experience and expert financial analysis skills – therefore an accounting qualification such as ACA/ACCA is essential. Applications from those currently working within the Transaction Services division of a major accountancy firm will be of particular interest.

There will be the requirement for significant travel with the role and a full driving license is therefore essential.
