- Crumlin- £40,000 per annum Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing organisation based in Crumlin. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Office Manager/ Accounts Manager to join their team. This vacancy has arisen due to company growth, and the successful candidate will oversee three staff members working within thE accounts function and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, managing office administration, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting management decisions, and coordinating with external accountants, suppliers, and government bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit CIS returns to HMRC monthly Submit ROS - PAYE and RCT returns Prepare VAT returns, EC Sales, Instat, Irish VAT (every 2 months), and Germany return (quarterly). End-of-month close: review nominal codes, reconcile KPIs, and report updates. Prepare management accounts quarterly and yearly accounts for accountants Perform costing analysis on valuations and review production spreadsheets Set up new taxation systems for foreign companies.
Support management with minute-taking and other ad hoc tasks. Assist with government compliance and submissions Bank reconciliation for all accounts Update Sage system, valuations, and spreadsheets. Manage aged debtors and creditors; chase overdue payments. Credit control, statements, invoice copies, and supplier follow-ups. Manage petty cash and credit card reconciliations. Oversee subscriptions, office systems, and telephone management. Assist the accounts team with daily queries and cover when necessary
Essential Criteria :
Part-qualified accountant/accounts technician preferred, or equivalent experience. Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software. Experience in payroll, VAT, CIS, and financial reporting A minimum of 3-5 years working within a similar role Company Benefits Competitive salary Pension scheme and Private Health Scheme.
