Manufacturing Technician Mechanical - Thursday - Saturday Night Shift

Location:

Templecombe, United Kingdom. The role is on‑site within our Underwater Systems division, operating in the Towed Array manufacturing cell.

Shift: Thursday – Saturday night shift with 30% uplift + additional Saturday payment.

Key Responsibilities and tasks:

• Perform mechanical assembly operations in accordance with routings, manufacturing instructions, wiring schedules, and drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficacy.
• Ensure equipment and tools are used and maintained to workshop standards.

About You:

• Hands‑on individual able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capable of working to manufacturing instructions.
• Experience/understanding of mechanical assembly and production environments.
• Focused on meeting deadlines with good time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Basic PC skills required.
