• Working as part of a commercial team reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, involved with every aspect of the commercial life cycle of schemes.
• Sub‑contract monitoring and management, cost reporting and forecasting.
• Managing early warnings and change control, agreeing on final accounts with the supply chain.
• Stakeholder management.
• Cost and value reporting.
• Providing commercial advice to the operations team.
• Providing leadership to junior Quantity Surveyors.

• Education to HNC/BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience at Quantity Surveying or Senior QS level within the civil engineering sector.
• Project experience on civils, infrastructure or utility schemes essential.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and excellent presentation and communication skills essential.
• Confidence in dealing with stakeholders from different disciplines to establish a complete commercial understanding.
