ResponsibilitiesYour role will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive surveying services across a mixed range of projects and sectors, including commercial, residential, public, and private work. We’re looking for someone with experience in a Construction Consultancy environment who’s keen to get involved in high-profile schemes that are helping shape the future. To support and assist with the provision of project management services, including technical advice, pre and post-contract project management services.
- Proven experience in delivering Programs and Project management.
- Self-motivated and can set project direction aligned with business goals, inspire teams, and drive performance across multiple projects.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and maximising profitability while delivering quality.
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets.
- Proficient in managing various contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, etc.) and ensuring the commercial success of projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage complex and challenging project timelines, ensuring milestone achievement. Experience and understanding of using Asta Power Project and/or MS Project would be advantageous.
- Ensures projects adhere to regulatory standards, health & safety requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Capable of leading through change—whether in scope, schedule, or resources—while maintaining team focus and morale.
- Clear, concise communicator with ability to report progress, challenges, and strategies to leadership and clients.
- MCIOB qualification or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. MRICS, APM) or a clear commitment to achieving chartered status.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in consultancy project management in construction.
- Able to demonstrate experience across several sectors and types of projects.
