Food Services Assistant – Sainsbury’s

Join the Sainsbury’s team as a Food Services Assistant in one of our local stores. This role ensures our food areas are welcoming, organised and fully stocked, providing customers with a great shopping experience.

• Above the school‑leaver age in your country (see )
• Right to work eligibility in the UK
• At least 18 years old if shifts cover earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm

• Prepare, pack and display a range of breads, pastries, hot foods and seasonal items so they are enticing for customers
• Check food temperatures, date‑check products and dispose of waste to maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Serve customers, answer questions, offer help and support with any queries
• Replenish stock and keep shelves tidy and full of well‑presented products
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
• Work flexibly across the store as required
