We are representing our client, a reputable independent garage located in Windermere, seeking to appoint a Senior Vehicle Technician. Duties:

• Perform a comprehensive range of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair tasks
• Support and oversee daily workshop operations, providing mentorship to junior technicians
• Liaise effectively with colleagues and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth workflow
• Build and maintain rapport with loyal clients through excellent service delivery
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all workshop activities
• Utilise your mechanical skills to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues efficiently

Candidate Specification:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a garage or workshop environment
• Level 3 NVQ Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
• Successful track record in delivering quality repairs and servicing as a Senior Vehicle Technician
• Organised, methodical, with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• MOT licence is desirable but not mandatory
• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior technician role is advantageous for the position
