Job Summary:
Our client in Windsor, Ontario is looking for a Maintenance Technical Lead . This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
The Maintenance Technical Lead responsibilities include but not limited to:Plan, coordinate, prioritize, assign, supervise, implement and review maintenance and test set up activities in an automotive testing facilityOversee and direct the activities of a multi-trade crew to complete required tasks in a safe and timely manner.Comply with the collective bargaining agreement, Canadian Electrical Code, TSSA, corporate policies and other applicable regulations in the organization and execution of maintenance activities.Develop procedures and make improvements to existing.Troubleshoot automated testing system issues and determine corrective actionsManage aspects of environmental health and safety conformanceOversee a preventative maintenance program for automotive testing equipment and facilitiesPrioritize tasks based on urgency and workforce availabilityMaintain accurate hourly timekeeping records, vacation and time off requestsDevelop scope of work for maintenance contractsPerform environmental inspections and coordinate waste pickups.Procure parts, material and rentals required to complete tasksTrack data for performance measurable such as Preventative Maintenance task completion, Work Orders, man hours, overtime, etc.Maintain good supplier/customer relations with internal customers and outside suppliersMonitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and equipmentBasics:
High school diploma, trade or a technical diploma from a post secondary institution.5-10 years of experience supervising maintenance and skilled trade activities in an industrial or construction environmentExperience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systemsExperience in a unionized labour environment, 5
-10 years would be a benefit.Willingness to accept a wide variety of assignmentsKnowledge of Ontario Building Code, Electrical Safety Code, OH&SA Regulations relating to industrial maintenance activitiesKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, ability to learn and operate other computer based and web based programsStrong project management, organizational, teamwork, written and verbal communication skillsMust have a valid driver’s licenseWilling to work weekends as requiredPreferred:
Computers skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and ability to use computer and web based softwareMust have a valid driver’s licenseWilling to work weekends as requiredDriving a company vehicle is required.
