Tool Designer​/Simulation

A great opportunity for the right candidate in the Windsor area. Our client is looking for a Tool and Die Designer.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Die Design using Solidworks

· Develop Bill of Materials

· Interact with leaders/managers on the shop floor

· Troubleshoot design/material issues

· Surfacing using Rhino

· Develops forming simulations using Dynaform and Autoform or similar program

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and

Experience:

· 5 or more years of experience in Tool and Die Design

· Knowledge of Solidworks or other design software

· Excellent organizational and problem- solving skills

· Excellent communication skills - both written and oral

· Ability to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently

· Excellent time management skills

· Strong analytical, critical thinking and decision- making abilities
