Job Description:
KBE Engineer - Knowledge Based Engineer (KBE).Responsibilities Include:Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for BIW upperbody components/subassemblies usingKnowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques.Position requires extensive knowledge of Teamcenter and NX modeling and an extensive background developing, packaging, and releasing BIW components and subassemblies.Additional responsibilities: managing internal and external suppliers, supporting pre-production and launch activities at vehicle assembly plants (US, Mexico, CA), creating and maintaining CBOM and quadris, benchmarking, and other responsibilities as required for the role/program.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent bachelor's degree with experience.+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX+ Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering ExperienceStrong English Speaking skills, including technical languageStrong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills requiredRemote Work with ability to travel to supplier/Client sites as requiredProof of Covid Vaccination will be requiredPreferred Requirements:+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience.+ years of body experience+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Seimens NXMust have's:In-plant body shop experienceVehicle launch experienceSheet metal (BIW upperbody/underbody or closures) design and release experience (KBE trained)We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
