Description:
The Stellantis Connected Vehicle Team is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience through the invention of software products delivered to Uconnect customers through a variety of digital touchpoints including mobile apps, websites, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
The team is seeking candidates that will be responsible for Infotainment, Connected Services, Vehicle Access, Start, & Security voice of the customer (VoC) vehicle-level validation and vehicle level DVP&R development and execution.
The Performance Test Engineer will support the vehicle integration and validation process by owning the EE validation of connected services features as well as Customer Functional Objective (CFO) testing.
The Performance Test Engineer will work with Performance Platform Engineers to issue the appropriate documentation for issue resolution including supporting the team where the issue crosses multiple vehicle disciplines.
The Performance Test Engineer will support the vehicle integration team through ensuring the vehicle fleet has up-to-date software and hardware and have the ability to collect necessary data from vehicles when required.
They will also provide mule vehicle support and mule issue resolution support.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited program
Vehicle level validation experience
Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral)
Strategic thinker
Proficient with CAN tools & Radio/TBM logging tools
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to summarize and present work
Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced work environment with minimum assistance
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
Working knowledge of FMEA, design validation (DV) and process validation (PV) (DVPR), and test planning
Three years of vehicle integration and validation experience or equivalent
DFSS Green Belt
Additional Information/ Must Have's:
. Vehicle level validation experience - CAN Log capture experience with triage experience
. Ability to read technical specifications, test plans, and be organized to provide clear results
. Connectivity, infotainment, and vehicle access feature experience

o Onsite/ Remote Hybrid ---> hybrid - validation can be done at ARDC or at home, but candidate must live in Windsor.

Testing / Driving on a Track / Moving vehicle throughout the facility/ Moving vehicle to another plant location) Yes - will be required to drive Stellantis m-plate vehicles
