Requirements:

• in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum of years of relevant experience in Engineering and Testing

• Knowledge of Lithium-ion battery chemistry, working principle, characterization, and performance

• Knowledge of Lithium-ion battery components

• Practical skills of common laboratory tools and instruments

• Experience of setting up, maintaining, and monitoring tests according to test procedures

• Capability of large test data processing, analyzing and visualization

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

• in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• Experience in Lithium-ion battery R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing

• Knowledge of up to date Lithium-ion battery technology

• Experience with Lithium-ion battery testing;
Knowledge of cell test methods and specifications, such as USABC battery test manuals

• Experience with battery cyclers, data acquisition systems, and EIS measurement

• Experience with DVP&R test plan execution

• Demonstrated ability to work in a unionized environment

• Prior experience or knowledge of ISO or accreditation
