Overview:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Delivery Helper is responsible in the vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse logistics. They are responsible for helping in delivering furniture, appliances, electronics, and other items safely and timely between the warehouse and specified locations. Operating various types of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is a key aspect of the role.

Additionally, the Warehouse Delivery Helper assists in loading and unloading shipments, verifying inventory, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on safety are essential qualities for success in this position. Excellent communication skills are also crucial for coordinating with warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless operations.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Delivery Helper is responsible for:

• Safely and properly load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
• Deliver consumer electronics, appliances and furniture into customer homes in a safe and efficient manner ensuring no damage to products or customer property.
• Provide customers with the highest level of service.
• Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid G Class Driver’s License is preferred.
• Must be fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong working and customer relationships.
• Ability to lift 120lbs and work at heights.
• Experience with mobile devices.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Mature, dependable team player.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
