Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Quantity Surveyor role for a major RC frame & LSF residential development in Windsor. You will support a Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor on a £135 million residential scheme delivering 413 units through a mix of reinforced concrete (RC) frame and lightweight steel frame (LSF) construction. The programme runs up to 2032, offering long-term stability, project exposure, and clear progression pathways.

• Managing allocated work packages across RC frame and LSF blocks
• Leading procurement, tendering, subcontract analysis, valuations and variations
• Supporting cost plans, cashflows, CVCs and monthly forecasting
• Assisting in value engineering, contract negotiations and risk management
• Working closely with Technical & Production teams to align commercial strategy
• Maintaining subcontractor relationships and ensuring contract compliance
• Supporting trainees/JQS where needed

• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Experience with residential or mixed-use construction
• Understanding of RC frame and/or lightweight steel frame advantageous
• Excellent communication, organisation, and commercial awareness
• Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress toward Senior QS level
• Interest in or progression toward RICS/CIOB is beneficial
• Experience on a high-profile, multi-phase masterplan in Windsor
• Exposure to complex RC frame and LSF construction
• Clear progression route toward Senior QS

• Up to £75,000 basic salary
