Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of banking and finance agreements.
- Project cash flow and prepare month-end and year-end accounts.
- Process and pay expenses, manage the asset register, and handle V.A.T.
- Conduct forecasting, year-end projections, and departmental budgeting.
- Track spending categories and oversee transactional processes such as purchase ledger and credit control.
- Drive efficiency and process improvements in month-end close and reporting.
- Oversee payroll and pensions, assist in year-end financial audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory financial reporting.
- Adhere to Financial Conduct Authority rules and internal policies.
Qualifications and
Experience:
- 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably within the service industry or an accounting practice.
- Relevant undergraduate degree.
- Currently working towards a postgraduate qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
Skills Required:
- Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong time management abilities, capable of performing under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational, numerical, and analytical skills.
