Senior Accountant (4-Day Work Week)
McLenehan and Associates CPAs – Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area
Base pay range $80,000.00/yr – $/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience).

This role supports clients with Compilation and Review financial statements, Corporate and Personal Income Tax returns, and provides professional advice. You will manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing tasks and delivering quality results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare 70–100 Compilation and Review engagements annually, adhering to CSRS 4200 and ASPE/ASNPO standards.
- Use financial metrics (Quick/Current ratio, Leverage, Debt‑to‑Equity, Gross Profit Margin, Management compensation, Net Profit) to assess small‑business profitability.
- Meet with clients to discuss work, provide advisory guidance, and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare 70–100 T2 Corporate Income Tax Returns focusing on tax‑planning for small‑business owners.
- Develop client‑specific income‑tax and owner‑compensation plans to maximize efficiency.
- Complete 100–200 T1 Personal Income Tax and Benefit Returns annually with high accuracy.
- Conduct research, confirm findings with colleagues, and communicate solutions clearly.
- Respond to client emails and calls promptly; continually enhance client experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
