Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Clerk in Winnipeg to join our clients team on a temporary basis, starting immediately. This role supports the finance department with high‑volume expense and invoice processing and requires a strong understanding of Canadian taxes. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

• Immediate temporary Accounts Payable role
• Potential to extend and/or be ongoing
• Convenient downtown location in Winnipeg

• Process high-volume employee expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
• Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy, appropriate approvals, and compliance with company policies
• Apply and verify Canadian tax calculations (GST/HST/PST/QST as applicable)
• Match invoices to supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with internal departments and vendors to address inquiries and issues
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of accounts payable documentation
• Assist with month-end activities as required
• Perform other accounts payable and administrative duties as assigned

• Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume expense claim processing
• Strong understanding of Canadian tax regulations related to accounts payable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a busy environment
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel is an asset
• Criminal record check is required
