Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with periodontists and prosthodontists to co-diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planning, and prophylaxis, tailored to patient needs.Administer local anesthetic as required and in accordance with provincial licensing standards.Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records and charting in compliance with regulatory and office protocols.Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and post-treatment care to support long-term oral health.Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain strict sterilization standards in accordance with clinic policy and regulations.Utilize dental management software (Dentrix preferred), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite for scheduling, documentation, and communication.Contribute to a positive and efficient clinical environment by working collaboratively with the entire dental team.Stay up to date on continuing education and new developments in dental hygiene practices.Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment room.Mon-Fri approx 8-5pm. No evenings no weekends.Qualifications:
Manitoba Licensed RDHMinimum 2 years of clinical work experienceValid CPR certificateAbility and certification to administer local anestheticIn depth knowledge of infection control policies and protocolsProficient in using dental management software, MS office and Google products.
