From the revitalization of downtown Winnipeg to building education and healthcare facilities for our remote northern communities, our work elevates the health, safety, and sustainability of the region. The Winnipeg office serves as a central hub to a diverse team of design professionals working on projects across the public and private sectors, throughout the prairies and across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the project design lead(s) to realize the design vision for the project(s)
- Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings
- Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Manage a team of consultants
- Ensure clear client communication
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets
- Manage the financial aspect of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
- Supporting the team on pursuing work through assisting with RFP preparation, including schedule and fees
Qualifications
- Registered architect in Manitoba (MAA), or eligibility to be registered in the province
- Minimum of 7 years experience working in a similar role
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam
- Experience with Healthcare or Security & Defense projects would be considered an asset
- Bilingual (English and French) would be considered an asset
