AECOM is seeking a Water Conveyance Engineering/EIT for a full‑time position based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role focuses on design and analysis of rural and urban conveyance systems, including water transmission and distribution, wastewater collection, and land drainage.

• Conduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
• Collect and analyze data.
• Use computer software to solve basic engineering problems.
• Perform work in accordance with the agreed‑upon budget and schedule under supervision.
• Design and analyze rural and urban conveyance systems.
• Field responsibilities: conduct occasional field assignments, inspections, and survey assistance.
• Work under the direction of the project manager.
• Review project drawings and specifications.
• Observe, inspect, and record work on‑site to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports.
• Construction survey layout and as‑built record survey.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities.

• Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar major, or have demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Experience in MS Office 365.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Experience in GIS platforms, such as Geomedia.
• Experience in hydraulic modelling software, such as Info Works ICM. Water
  
  CAD and other platforms would be an asset.

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
• Willingness/ability to travel to job sites and perform field work as needed.
