Automated Systems Project Manager

Lead automated equipment projects with Valiant TMS, applying technical guidance and customer communication across design, manufacturing, and commissioning phases.
As Project Manager in Valiant TMS’s Body in White division, you will deliver customized equipment and technology solutions. The work spans project coordination, schedule and budget monitoring, change documentation, and issue resolution. You will support alignment between customers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Proposal, Sales, and Finance teams throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Review orders against customer specifications and approved proposals
Guide projects through design, build, and commissioning phases
Monitor schedules, budgets, risks, and corrective action plans
Coordinate information across Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments
Manage customer visits, progress reviews, and final buy-off meetings
Requirements:
Minimum five years’ automated systems or machine tool experience
Post-secondary education in technical or engineering studies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and management skills
Leadership ability and confident decision-making under pressure
Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to travel
Bring project leadership, technical coordination, and customer communication expertise to automated production programs at Valiant TMS.
