Litigation Associate (5–10 Years Experience) – Aboriginal Law Focus  Job Overview   Position Summary   We are looking for a skilled and strategic Associate with 5–10 years of experience to join our Aboriginal Law Litigation and Specific Claims teams. The ideal candidate has experience with rights-based litigation, administrative tribunals, or regulatory hearings, and a commitment to advancing Indigenous legal issues.

Key Duties:

Develop and execute litigation strategies in coordination with internal and external teams
Work on litigation in Manitoba Court of Kings Bench
Work on litigation in Specific Claims Tribunal and negotiations

Qualifications:

5–10 years of litigation experience, with exposure to Aboriginal or constitutional law
Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills

Experience with professional responsibility matters considered an asset
Superior organizational and time management skills
Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the firm
Good standing with the Law Society of Manitoba
