Lead packaging sourcing for Roquette from Midland, Michigan, applying procurement expertise across Canada and the continental United States. Work in a hybrid environment with regional stakeholders.
As Regional Direct Category Buyer, Packaging, you will manage an evolving spend portfolio across Roquette facilities in the NORAM region. The role covers sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, performance management, and purchasing KPI reporting. You will align local activities with purchasing strategy and implement international framework agreements. Collaboration spans Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop regional packaging purchasing strategies aligned with Group priorities
- Lead sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution
- Implement framework agreements across the assigned regional scope
- Monitor supplier performance against quality, safety, and contractual requirements
- Track purchasing KPIs, savings initiatives, and action plans
- Experience in commodity sourcing, supplier management, and industrial procurement
- Knowledge of packaging commodity markets
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, procurement, business, or engineering
- Advanced English and strong stakeholder communication skills
