Job Description

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for a Janitor for a remote lodge near Fort Francis, ON. Strong janitorial experience and familiarity with remote camp work is required, familiarity with custodial work.

As a Janitorial worker on our team, you'll take on the important job of keeping our operations and locations clean, so that our customers can stay happy and healthy. The Janitor cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction.

• Comprehensive benefit packages are offered.
• Transportation is provided out of Winnipeg, MB.
• Rotation can vary from:
• 3 weeks on/1 week off
• 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
• 2 weeks on/1 week off
• 20 days on/10 days off

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.

• Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
• Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
• Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
• Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensure security of company assets.

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co‑workers.
• Adaptable to guests’ needs.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
