Position Overview – We are looking for a detail‑oriented CAD Technician to create accurate drawing packages, manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex design projects from concept through production. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, hands‑on mechanical knowledge and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Create and deliver high‑quality, accurate drawing packages in a timely manner.
- Manage multiple priorities and adjust workload based on team and project needs.
- Coordinate complex design projects from conception to production, including participation in design meetings, test orders and factory coordination.
- Interpret and work from manufacturing drawings with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet customer and production requirements.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of design work.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or HVAC environment is considered an asset.
- Technically inclined, energetic, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
