Overview

Gerdau is currently seeking a Labourer for its Selkirk Recycling location.

• A variety of physical labour tasks and activities at various work stations throughout the worksite
• Switchman for DE Railcrane
• Shear clean up and shredder beltman
• Operate wheel press
• Remove end caps from railcar wheel assemblies
• Brass shack: peddler piece sorting, battery pile and clean wire

• Will be able to work any assigned shift (days, afternoons, nights)
• Start in an entry level position and advance to higher level positions
• Salary: $23.22/hour

• Capable of performing a labour intensive job outside in the elements
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Grade 12 diploma or GED is required
• Experience in operating heavy mobile equipment and machinery would be an asset
• Possess excellent communication skills, great work ethic and very good attendance
