The Position: Labourer

Keep the worksite clean and organized by removing fallen tree debris, including branches, leaves, and trunks.Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, or feed brush into a woodchipper.Set up tools and equipment for arborists to use.Help arborists assess the health and structural integrity of trees, possibly by assisting with measurements, observations, or gathering data.Perform physically demanding manual labor in various weather conditions.Set up barriers or signs to keep the area safe for the crew and the public.Actively support and encourage working safely and supporting a positive team environment.Other duties as required.Experience and Knowledge Expectations:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Valid Class 5 driver’s license, and Driver’s AbstractApplicant must pass pre-employment drug screening.Valid First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain.Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments.Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills.Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and equipment.Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE.Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations during emergencies.Basic knowledge of trees, including identification and growth habits would be considered an asset.Join Our Team:
