Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers, modeling exemplary conduct for staff.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Maintain adequate stock through efficient inventory management.
  • Take inventory as scheduled and provide inventory reports.
  • Increase sales, expand markets, and promote business to meet goals.
  • Verify invoices against packaging slips and track all expenditures.
  • Ensure merchandise is presented neatly and items are correctly priced.
  • Make sound business decisions for large volume purchases.
  • Provide management with required sales, staff, and productivity reports.
  • Hold staff accountable for cash box deficits.
  • Balance sales, print and record receipts and track daily revenue.
  • Make daily bank deposits and reconcile statements.
  • Coordinate ordering and receiving of cannabis and accessories.
  • Supervise all staff and coordinate work to ensure productive operations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must have Smart Choices Cannabis Retail Certification.
  • Must have a clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
  • Minimum of 3-6+ years work experience in the retail industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a retail environment.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Skills to monitor and assess staff performance.
  • Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations.
  • Basic office administration skills.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • Highly effective teamwork skills.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Politically and culturally sensitive.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to sales software quickly.
  • Experience implementing PR and advertising campaigns.
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude.
  • Meticulous records maintenance skills.
